Vets in Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire
Higham Ferrers Veterinary Clinic presents itself as an independent practice founded by Charly. The clinic is set up for routine care and in-clinic diagnostics (it lists X-ray and ultrasound) with a focus on pet comfort, including separate dog/cat waiting areas, cushioned benches, heated floors, and air conditioning. Recent reviews repeatedly mention staff handling anxious/nervous animals with care (for example, nervous dogs during anal gland treatment and consults), plus owners valuing the on-site link between the Pet Spa and veterinary care (“knowing a vet is right there if anything goes wrong”). A big thank you to Chloe for taking great care looking after Teddy. Anal glands not the best job , but she was very kind and caring as Teddy is a nervous miniature schnauzer.

I feel so much better leaving my anxious dog at the Pet Spa, knowing a vet is right there if anything goes wrong.

I attended today with my anxious Border Collie. I have to praise fantastic staff and particularly a new Vet Chloe who was fantastic with anxious Chester. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing. I brought my previously stray kitten in, and they couldn’t have been more gentle and still thorough. Today was her second visit for vaccinations and I’m so grateful for Chloe and Ophelia for taking such good care of my special girl!🥰

Higham Vets have been amazing. The first interaction I had with them was unfortunately for euthanasia for a pet rat, which was handled with care and compassion as well as very quick turnaround. The first interaction usually sticks with you, and this was very true in our case. We got 2 cats last year, and had to get them vaccinated; we didn't even shop or search for any other veterinary practise as we knew that Higham would be the place to go to. The cats adored the vets and the vets adored the cats; everyone we've interacted with has been more than pleasant and always have a smile. The compassion and care from everyone has been stellar, the price is very competitive (not that you'd put a price on your furry friend!) The practice is very easy to find and the building is very, very clean. I'll keep bringing the boyo's here for as long as I'm in the area.

A great veterinarian clinic we’ve taken both our cat and dog to. There’s a comfy modern waiting room with separate sections for cats and dogs and friendly receptionists. Our vet has their examination room which was clean and smelled pleasant

Clean, tidy and well presented inside.. Cat waiting area separate to dog waiting area. Staff seem very knowledgeable and friendly, kind with sensitive subjects too. Average prices. Its also nice to finally visit a vets where you're seen on time too !!! Parking available opposite on the market square which is free. Recommended definitely.
