Great Vets we live in Northampton and travel to Kettering just to see Max he has treated all my Yorkshire terriers

Been using for 13 years with cat (13) and dog (12) always helpful. The staff are kind to my animals who like the staff. Prices are explained and they send text reminders for repeat prescriptions. Easy to get an appointment or repeat prescription when needed. Have over the years took cat and dog at the same time for a joint appointment and no issues. The vets in this place are the reason I will never return and advise others to do the same. 0 compassion, 0 effort or care, just prescribe without doing any checks and unhelpful. Max the vet, just prescribes endless medication and gave it to my dog without asking then charge inflated amounts , extremely unhelpful with a nervous dog and just doesn’t care at all. Had my other dog neutered, took her back for a check up, other vet Diego persistently tugged at her stitches to which he had to be told to stop, she then ended up bleeding all weekend and having a bad infection. Only given 2 stars and not 1 due to the nice reception staff.

Caring, reassuring and helpful. Explained my cats procedure clearly and was considerate of my feelings. I will return their again and trust that they give my cat the best care needed to heal him.

Booked an appointment for my dog who was not herself. From what I described the vet thought it was a pyometra and reception called me to see if I could come in sooner which I did. I was seen immediately and the vet confirmed it was a pyometra. She had emergency surgery that afternoon, the vet called to say she was out of surgery and in recovery. I picked her up that evening and let her sleep it off. The next day she saw a nurse for a checkup check up, all healing well. The nurse asked to see her again in 3 days. As she was recovering very quickly I called the surgery to see if a visit was necessary. I was asked to send some images of the wound and the nurse would review. The nurse called me that afternoon and we discussed her recovery and I felt she was recovering well so wouldn't bring her back. However the nurse did say if I had any issues to call them. The service received from everyone at this practice was phenomenal for my dog and me. I can not thank you all enough for caring so much. Thoroughly recommend this practice to everyone, thank you 🥰
