Just before Xmas was the first time I had visited this vets. I originally phoned thinking they’d be no point and that I wouldn’t be able to get an appointment so close to Xmas . I was an absolute mess on the phone and surprised the receptionist could even understand what I was saying. She made me feel at ease and let me take my time and didnt rush me. I was nervous as my dogs an older lady now, and seeing her with tooth ache was upsetting. Once I explained everything, there was a choice of two appointments for me, she also said they have a consultation room downstairs and we could park at the back to make it easier for my dog. Which I was really grateful for, and due to the Xmas shopping the car park would have been awkward for my dog to navigate. It was easy to find, and once we got there and buzzed in, we got taken to the consultation room, which was a nice size room, it was clean and tidy, and a couch. Unlike some dogs my dog loves the vet anyway so it’s a day out for her to get sniffing around being nosey. The vet we saw was lovely as again I was rambling and worried. She explained everything and the best options. She put my mind at rest and I was glad I caught the problem early. Once my dog figured out the room was inside a pets store she was sniffing at the door, and I think she thought it was early Xmas when I opened the door so she could see, as she was given treats by the staff in the shop. We had a follow up appointment yesterday, and the service was the same. Friendly and helpful, and apologies to the lady who offered to well let’s say discard an unwanted gift from my dog(don’t worry I had a bag to put it in)! I will say I haven’t been in the vets using the main entrance but have seen it when going in the pets store, as that’s where the vets is. It’s upstairs, and there are multiple consultation rooms. And a balcony bit so you can see below. They do have some stairs to get upstairs but they also have a lift. I feel like if anything the owners will end up buying something nice for their pets after the visit to the vets, so don’t be surprised if your pet suddenly likes going to the vets after that! Thank you for helping my dog, and making it an easy experience.

I think I dislike going to the vets as much as my animals! This is the 3rd vets we have used since moving to the area 5 years ago. But this vets we will be staying with, pricing is transparent and very reasonable, everyone is professional and compassionate which puts pets and owners alike at ease. Worthy of top marks.

I’m extremely disappointed . My dog has a swollen paw and can’t walk. I went to the vet and paid £86 just to be told things I had already read on Google. They didn’t do anything to actually help him. Once again, they gave me the same syrup they prescribe every time, no matter what the issue is — apparently that’s their version of paracetamol for dogs. The vet also told me to apply Sudocrem or Vaseline, which makes no sense to me. Not surprisingly, it made things worse. My dog’s paw is now even more swollen. What frustrates me most is that instead of helping properly the first time, they just said to come back if it gets worse — clearly so they can charge for another visit. I honestly feel they deliberately don’t prescribe adequate treatment on the first visit, knowing the dog will get worse so that we have to come back a second or third time, paying more and more. I shouldn’t have to wait for my dog’s condition to worsen to get real treatment. At this point, I’m not even sure I can afford a second appointment. Very disappointed

Super impressed with this veterinary practice. I've used Vets for Pets in Beds and Herts over the years, which weren't great. This practice is huge, very clean and spacious. There are loads of consultation rooms. There is a lift to access the practice as it is above the Pets At Home shop. Loads of room to manoeuvre in the every spread out waiting room, with designated areas for cats, dogs and small animals. The consultation rooms are spacious, too. The veterinary staff are friendly and knowledgeable and clearly love the animals they care for. The reception staff were also very smiley and chatty and offered advice for a general enquiry I had. Prices are competitive. Our kitten has the cleanest looking spay site I've ever seen and I've had many female cats over the years.

A Lovely professional team. Always friendly and helpful. One of our dogs recently had a procedure and they were all brilliant. The store is also very nice, a joy to walk around. Thank you. 😊

Yesterday 25/625 I had reason to take my best friend to the vets. For the very first time I used the Vets4Pets, on Carina Way. The place is spread over two floors. There was an elevator for Muppets like me, to get to the vets upstairs, above there retail arm. The ladies on reception were friendly, helpful, and attentive. I had to fill out a paper registration form which surprised me in this day and age. I sat in a pleasant waiting room with plenty of space enabling one to keep the waiting animals apart easily. I was even seen BEFORE my appointment time. The vet Laura, was knowledgeable, full of patience, listened well, gave Sally Assistance Hound an extremely thorough exam. Laura then made a prognosis and went through all the alternative forms of treatment available, their possible side effects, timelines and costs etc. I am pleased to say that my mate is already responding extremely well to the treatment selected. I would like to emphasize that for years I have been using the easipetcare vets without complaint, except that it's so hard to get to without a vehicle, and perhaps their prices. However I ONLY left their wonderful practice, because this new vets location is so very much closer to me!
